Who will I be today?

World-building is something each of us does. In our rapidly changing lives, we can reinvent ourselves almost daily, if we wish. Today, I choose to be a writer. This way I can retain who I am at my core, while taking imaginary folks on adventures as their story unfolds. I write in many catagories, fiction and nonfiction alike, but my joy is fantasy, dark fantasy, and magical realism. I love to discover the next sentence, losing myself in the next character, and watching the next event unfold along with the reader.

This method of writing interests me and gives me joy. It transformed me from a voracious reader to a follower of the created path. To explore wherever the next passage leads. I find, to a degree, this method works with many types of writing (although planning and editing are required, at times). Once my routine emerges from the chaos of my current learning curve, I will refocus on writing.
